Understanding the EU
Our training courses aim to increase our clients’ understanding of European policies of relevance to them, strengthen their motivation to work with European affairs, and identify key decision-makers in Brussels.
The Brussels Office is frequently called on to give talks and presentations on EU and European Economic Area affairs for Norwegian government institutions, private companies and other organisations. We are equally proud to be responsible for EU training for hundreds of government officials in other European countries.
The Brussels Office has provided training seminars for high-ranking civil servants in Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Georgia. Our EU training programmes include topics such as lobbying strategies, negotiation techniques and the process of aligning with the EU aquis communautaire.
To achieve these aims, The Brussels Office offers:
- Workshops on specific policy areas such as energy, transport, climate change, trade, enlargement or EU funding
- Simulations of negotiations in EU expert groups
- Visits to EU and EEA/EFTA institutions in Brussels
