Helene Tofte is Managing Director at The Brussels Office. Her responsibilities include management of The Brussels Office’s civil-servant training projects in the Western Balkans, advising clients on EU/EEA related issues and developing and executing advocacy campaigns. 

Helene has worked for The Brussels Office since February 2006. In addition to focusing on EU affairs management, her responsibilities include being seminar leader and giving lectures at The Brussels Office’s seminars in the Western Balkans. Helene is also a guest lecturer at the University of Agder in Norway. Amongst other topics, she covers the EU’s security and defence policies, decision making processes in the EU and lobbying.
 
Helene holds a Masters in European Studies from the University of Bath, England and Charles University, the Czech Republic (pass with distinction). She also holds a Cand.Mag degree from Norway where she studied political science, media and development studies.
